BT Mobile SenseBT Mobile Sense
Renamed as BT Mobile Home Plan and then later became BT Fusion

BT Mobile Sense is a new service from British Telecom. You can manage your mobile phone online. BT are surely on a winner by the idea of online mobile phone management. Here's what they say "Get a better deal on your mobile by buying it online. Mobile Sense has the latest phones and a simple tariff that lets you add on all the things you want onto a low monthly line rental. Because you buy and manage your account online, we can offer you amazingly good rates like off peak calls to mobiles on any network from 6p, and texts from 3p. With our tariff chooser, you can see exactly what you are paying for, and the more you buy, the better the rates get. We've also taken the mystery out of buying a new phone.O2 We don't link our phone prices to tariffs, so the prices don't vary. There is just one price regardless of the plan you've selected. That means you can shop for a phone you want, and know it's always available with the call plan you like. Mobile Sense is powered by the O2 network, so coverage is never an issue. And to make life really easy, you can bring your existing mobile number with you when you join. As a Mobile Sense customer, you'll receive a e-bill every month, and you'll be able to see and change your account details and call plan online. Keep your existing mobile number".

Update 2008: BT Mobile Sense seemed to make sense at the time, but it wasn't long before it was replaced with BT Fusion, the much vaunted newfangled system, which was going to have an affiliate program and all would be explained at the time. The problem was that this never really happened, so we were left in the lurch, There is some good news, which is that BT Broadband is well featured at this site, and has done well, along with BT Shop, a place where you can get phones and other communication equipment. These have helped to make up for the things which were missing.
